The story began with Gracia Sotomayor’s dream of learning artistic cycling and eventually promoting the sport in her country, Peru. After a couple of years of training in VfH Worms club and her first participation in the indoor cycling world championships, she will be soon making a trip to Peru to get people excited about this sport and to recruit them as a trainer or athletes for the nation of Peru.
For this purpose, the homepage “www.ciclismoartistico.com” has now been published in Spanish with a focus on the general overview of artistic cycling and the connection with her motivation to take the sport in Latin America. The new website is directly linked to ICWW, all important dates for her visit to Peru can be found in a calendar and there is a possibility to support the project with a donation.
