The Ukraine team is very happy about the support from VfH Worms and ICWW. “We wouldn’t have been able to travel to Worms and Amorbach with our own funds,” said coach Natascha Geizj, expressing her gratitude. Without financial help, Team Ukraine will not be able to afford the trip to the World Championships in Bremen. This is a great incentive for further earmarked donations to the ICWW account.
On the occasion of the UEC Indoor Cycling Junior European CHampionships 2024 in Amorbach, Germany, Rolf Halter (Chairman of the ICWW) handed over € 500 in donations to the Ukrainian delegation leader Tihamer Geizj.
The results of the Ukrainian athletes are amazing. In Pairs Open Kristina KOPOR / Stanislav BODNAR achieved fifth place with 36.52 points. Kristina KOPOR finished 16th in the Single Women with 51.17 points. In the Single Men Maksym MARHITYCH came 12th with 50.53 points and Stanislav BODNAR 13th with 49.44 points.
