From 20 to 24 July 2026, the traditional Indoor Cycling training camp once again took place in Kolárovo, Slovakia. Around 30 athletes from Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Germany used the week to train intensively together, learn new elements and prepare for the upcoming sporting highlights – including the World Cup, the Slovak Championships and the World Championships.
This year, the focus was on many new exercises and technical elements: stands, forward and backward climbs, jumps and squats were practised with great concentration, courage and endurance. The athletes worked ambitiously on their programmes and demonstrated exactly what makes this training week so special: a fantastic atmosphere, strong team spirit and a true winner’s mindset.

Once again, the sense of togetherness within the group was particularly special. Many of the athletes have known and trusted each other for years – and this trust is incredibly important in artistic cycling, especially when spotting, supporting and learning challenging exercises. Communication was effortless, taking place in German, English and sometimes simply through gestures. In the end, what matters is that everyone works together, supports one another and improves together.
A big thank you goes to Andrea Hajdú for once again doing a fantastic job organising the camp, as well as to all the coaches who accompanied and helped shape the week – including Alica, Martin, Nico, Vicky and Dori. The programme outside the sports hall was also an important part of the camp, offering plenty of activity, positive energy and time spent together.
Thank you to everyone involved for this intensive, inspiring and personally valuable week of training. We wish all the athletes the very best of luck in their upcoming competitions – and we are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
The next training camp is planned for 19–23 July 2027.
