A small Social Media guide

Social Media can be an important tool for athletes and clubs in indoor cycling to
generate more awareness for their sport. But there are some important roles.
This is why we decided to hold a free webinar where everyone interested could
learn more about the best practices on Facebook and Instagram. Carolin Huber
and Gracia Sotomayor gathered some info and held online presentations on two
occasions – one for the english-speaking and another for the german-speaking
community. A total of 14 participants from various countries took part and
learned about some of the following:

  • which social networks work best for whom
  • how to find and address your key audience
  • what the legal rules concerning pictures and music look like
Anyone interested in the presentation (German or English) or a potential new
edition of the webinar or anyone with an idea for another topic to be discussed
in a webinar is welcome to get back to us via e-mail. Furthermore, there is now
a Facebook group called “Social-Media-Workshop Indoorcycling and friends”
where anyone can ask their questions and get help from the community.
One last tip for those of you hosting their own Instagram account: Feel free to
tag @indoorcycling_ww in your posts so we can repost them and help you get
    even more attention.
