As the pandemic has also had Rwanda firmly in its grip since the spring of 2020, measures to contain the pandemic have also been taken there. Among other things, there have been lockdowns, and various facilities remain closed. This also applies in particular to many leisure and sports activities.
That way, no training sessions were held in the past year 2021. Coach and athletes try to keep in touch through private meetings in smaller circles and hope for an opening soon so that they can finally train together again
